The five year olds in my son’s Montessori class went to Tanaka Farms yesterday. We went on a hay ride and learned all about organic farming and the fruits and vegetables they grow on the farm. We tasted vegetables right out of the ground too – there were green onions, bok choy, spinach, carrots, and sugar snap peas. Then the kids each picked their own basket of strawberries, and we were all able to eat as many as we liked as we picked them! What a great day – thank you Mrs. Somasundaram and Mrs. Sadaat for such a fabulous field trip, we’ll cherish the memories forever…Scroll past the slideshow for a few of my favorite photos from the trip.
The last time I saw this guy, he was at least six inches shorter. Can’t imagine growing that much in a year, that’s gotta hurt…
