A few photos of my favorite model-babies: Zyah and Zarielle. Today Zyah was the one into taking pictures, so we got more of him. They’re so little, you never know how it’s going to go, but we got a bunch of good shots. I loved their little ensembles. And Zyah’s new haircut is so precious!
10 years ago today, Michael and I got married by Elvis in Vegas. The first photos in the slideshow were taken by me at our hotel in Vegas. The photos my “bridal party” took of me didn’t come out b/c somebody forgot to plug in the flash! Ha! All the more reason to hire a REAL wedding photographer! Too bad, b/c I looked fantastic: my hair was teased and Randy put baby’s breath in it (ha!) and i wore snakeskin spandex pants, that delaminated over the course of the night, which made for an early evening. We dressed all cheasy 70s Elvis’y. Then we came home and had a huge party at our place on Mountain in Laguna. Mike Colon was the photographer. Instead of having a wedding dress, my friend and fabulous floral designer Jennie Harden designed two “wedding headdresses” for us. I made all our guests stand in front of this pink linen fabric curtain, and take pictures wearing them. We had a bar serving festive fruity drinks in coconut cups, a steel drum band, and inside, the slideshow of our wedding was playing on a loop. It was a pretty entertaining video b/c Michael bawled thru the entire ceremony! Maybe by next year, I’ll turn that vhs tape into a dvd and post, but for now, here’s a slideshow of the photos from our album:
Our new neighbors acress the street, Marna and Brad, just had their baby and he’s the most beautiful little thing! Look at his skin! So beautiful….here are a few photos.
He was nervous about missing it, so we got to the bus stop 30 minutes early, ugh. Porbably had something to do with the fact that I screwed up his pickup from Kindergarten yesterday and they had to call me to come pick him up. Mother of the year, I know. Photos taken with the Hipstamatic app on my Iphone.
Here’s a slideshow of a few of the greeting cards I’ve designed over the years, with the holiday season around the corner, I thought I’d plant the seed….

I like how the sun light is being used to give a sort of a vintage tone to it.
