I took a few photos of Christine Fugate, my writer slash movie maker friend who lives up the street….her hair’s growing in curly after her cancer treatments. What a year she’s had, but she’s back to work at the Laguna Beach Independent, with a writing workshop, she’s a pretty neat lady, I’m so glad to know her.

The kids gave me 5 minutes the other day to take their picture, Mackie is such a big boy now, he really didn’t want to put the angel wings on. My little boy’s growing up. I’ll have to figure out something “cool” for his Valentine’s cards, but that’s another story….for now here are a few cute ones of my sweet girls. I have to catch myself from calling them my “babies”, they’re not babies anymore, kind of sad, but it is so great to watch them change…..

Here are some of my favorites from their shoot. I’ve been shooting these guys for something like four years…Whenever the kids see me, they say “The Pez Lady!” I’m into bribing kids for taking good photos. Even when I run into them at the school drop off, it’s not “Hi Mack’s Mom!” it’s “The Pez Lady!”  ha ha!

Here are some photos of the Giles family, isn’t that little girl adorable?! That’s Venice, she’s 3. We walked all around the Los Rios district in San Juan Capistrano, there are so many photo-opportunities there! I brought some props, that little hat, the pearls, the flower,  so festive…

Hayden and Camille went were invited to their first princess party ever! It was Ava Guziak’s 4th birthday, and everyone dressed up as a princess, so precious! ! There was a magician, a REAL princess who could make cool balloon animals, and a fabulous face painter! Here’s a slideshow of the photos….Happy Birthday Ava!!! I was looking for a family with all-girl kids for this card to work, and I found one! This is a horizontally-oriented, folded holiday card. I love it!   I took my kids to this brick wall for a “concert”, but it’s not quite perfection with one little boy…here’s that slideshow, notice how the photos are sync’d to the song, that’s Pro Show Gold, love that program. We Are Family

This little girl is so funny, I’ve been taking her picture for 5 years now! We had several outfit changes and she got in her cowgirl ensemble and sang me a song and played her pink guitar. Scroll down for some pics of the holiday cards I designed….
