A few of my favorite photos from Carol, Aaron, and Sophie’s family portrait session at the beach in Laguna. I’m so glad to have photographed her when she was a newborn and on her first birthday too!
I love Halloween, and even though Mack’s birthday isn’t until mid-November, we’ve been having Halloween-themed parties for the last few years. This year we went all out on the decorations, and with the help of a TON of friends, it really looked Martha Stewart-y. We had a bounce house w/ a slide and a face painter. My friend Karol spent forever decorating the house w/ spider webs and she even cut out like 50 paper spiders to tape to the windows. And my friend Randy made this fabric chandelier I saw on pinterest.com. And then Johanna, Sarah, Snicky and some of the guests made all the appetizers I found on pinterest, it was pretty cool! And Karen spent hours washing dishes! Lucky us!
When I was a kid, I had a birthday party once and nobody came, so now I overcompensate by inviting a gazillion people. That way if people don’t show up, none of us would even notice. It was a good thing I invited so many people, because I got to spend time w/ some of Mack’s kindergarten cohorts, who are precious and have great parents! It was a fabulous party, and I had so much help with it, that I was able to take some pictures towards the end. Anyway, here’s a slideshow of some of the photos, you can really see the kids were having fun, lots of sweaty little kids with icing around their mouths and dirty feet…
Love these photos of Jaxson. This is the first time I had time to take photos at one of Mack’s birthday parties. I still managed to get some good shots, even though I was holding a 2 year old in my arms half the time….
I’ve been wanting to do a slideshow set to this song FOREVER. I was trying to find a family with three or more girls for it, but it just wasn’t in the cards. That’s ok because it’s plenty fabulous enough with my own kids. Mack is the lead singer and Hayden and Camille are singing backup….
A few photos from our shoot at the Los Rios district in San Juan Capistrano. There are so many different backgrounds to shoot in front of, makes for fun photos. The kids were soooo cute together!
I had so many favorites from this shoot, it was hard to narrow them down to share! They thought they looked like UPS drivers, but I loved the colors, ha!
It might be fun to do a holiday card w/ “Naughty or nice?” etc., notice the sign behind the kids on the lifeguard stand. That stand’s not there anymore, by the way….
