I met this adorable little girl and her family a few years ago through the Laguna Beach Parents’ Club and I’ve been taking her photo every year since. She’s always been amazingly natural in front of the camera, just a total joy.

The tide was out and we had fun checking out all the sea life at the tide pools. These guys are Kent Sveningson’s sons, the best chiropractor in Orange County if not the world.

FINALLY designed the babies birth announcement! It only took me 8 months, ha ha! The problem was getting the perfect photo for the inside of the card. Twins are hard like that. But it was worth the wait!
So the black and white photos are the outside of the card (it’ll be a 5×7 folded card, so the front is on the right and the back is on the left and the vertical line down the middle is the fold).
The color photo will be one big photo on the inside of the card, spread across the crease. I’m going to print a zillion of them and bring them to everyone w/ round yellow and white frosted sugar cookies! So festive! Such a relief to have this done! And before Christmas!
Sidenote: My mom sewed the bathing suits!

It’s my second year shooting holiday cards for this family. Such a fun, happy bunch! Last year’s cards were great, but I think this year’s turned out even better!

I found Gillian searching Google after feeling quite unenthusiastic with the referrals I had originally been given. We wanted some great family pictures to memorialize our vacation in Laguna and LOVED the outcome! I was a little nervous because one never knows if two little ones will cooperate or not. Gillian was amazing with Jack and Christopher as the pictures reflect. We will definitely use her again anytime we are in Orange County. I would recommend her to anyone who wants something other than the “stock” beach pictures anyone can take!

Janis, You are so fortunate to have such a beautiful family. Your son is so handsome and his wife and the kids are just beautiful!.. My oldest son is getting married in January and I cannot wait for a grandchild or two.

Mack’s learning how to play “hocksotch”……no…..”hopsotch”…… no……”hopsich”……not sure exactly what he calls it. It’s so cool to watch him dance across the squares, his skinny little arms and legs flapping and fluttering in excitement. my little hummingbird. These pictures don’t do the dance justice, I need to get the video camera out. He’s sleeping in those pajamas now, all dirty and dusty with chalk and asphalt. I had to bribe him for a little eye contact, so worth it…… it really is a sweet life.
