He was nervous about missing it, so we got to the bus stop 30 minutes early, ugh. Porbably had something to do with the fact that I screwed up his pickup from Kindergarten yesterday and they had to call me to come pick him up. Mother of the year, I know. Photos taken with the Hipstamatic app on my Iphone.

Here’s Rashed, one year later. His mom’s name is Jawaher, which is jewel in Arabic. So this is her little jewel. He’s such a sweet, happy little thing, and his eye lashes are a mile long.

I met this adorable little girl and her family a few years ago through the Laguna Beach Parents’ Club and I’ve been taking her photo every year since. She’s always been amazingly natural in front of the camera, just a total joy.
