A busy day, as usual w/ three little kids, and after getting thrown up on (the first time……Hayden’s sick) I put the babies in the kitchen sink for a bath. A lot of thoughts run through my head as I look at this photo:
1. what precious little darlings, i love them so much.
Gillian_ I happended across your blog from The Dream Album Blog. This pic is so priceless! Hope everyone feels better and wishing you no more throw up showers..love your images!
Wow, you are an architect, a photographer AND a mom of 3!!! Don’t worry about the dirt – pat yourself on the back and start making out the “Honey-Do” list!
I love this picture!! I just love looking at your photographs, this is the kind of photography I would love to be doing!! Iam just getting started and you are the only persons pictures that I have seen that are true to my own… Thank you for letting me see, Iam not the only one out there who takes pictures like this!!!
You wouldn’t guess it was November from these photos. That’s one of the great things about California: you can take fabulous outdoor portraits any time of the year.

I recently participated in a video tutorial for VirtueRadioNetwork.com’s scrapbooking video series, Cropped! on how to take better photos. I was really nervous about being in front of the camera, but the producer was fabulous and made me feel right at home. You can watch the video below.
Here’s some of the photos I took for the video. As you can see, it definitely helps if you’re working with a charismatic, photogenic family! They’re a family of six, with another on the way.

It’s my second year shooting holiday cards for this family. Such a fun, happy bunch! Last year’s cards were great, but I think this year’s turned out even better!

I photographed Ryan Kollock’s bootcamp last Saturday at the high school in Laguna Beach, they started off with a 1-mile run around the track to “warm up”! That was just the beginning of the fun – they ran the bleachers, sprinted and lunged nonstop for an hour. I was glad I was only taking the pictures!! Even that was a workout, I was sweating just to keep up with them.
He and his wife Theresa offer bootcamps Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays at 9:15 am and Saturdays at 8:30am. You can find Ryan here:
